Before you begin the Mini ESTA, we recommend you access the resources

The Mini ESTA a streamlined version of the ESTA that includes 2-3 questions for each domain. This assessment provides quick results and is scored by the person/group of people completing the questions. Mini ESTA results reflect an abbreviated and individual perception of where an organization stands in the process of transforming employment supports. It can be an effective tool for educating stakeholders and jump-starting transformation.

- Use the Mini ESTA to identify which domains are strongest and which have the greatest need for improvement.
- Ask representatives from each stakeholder group and organization department to complete the Mini ESTA and compare/discuss their scores. How do their perceptions differ? How are they similar?
- Use Mini ESTA results as a foundation for discussion with Board members. Invite the Board to learn more about transformation by completing the Mini ESTA themselves and discussing results.
- Use the Mini ESTA to educate individuals and families about the transformation process. Focus family and town hall meetings around issues identified in the Mini ESTA.
